We believe in reinforcing young people’s dreams - we actively help to make it happen. We know through personal and professional experience that it is vital in life to build a level of self-awareness, confidence, resilience and optimism. More than this, it is important to back yourself to achieve your ambitions. Equally, knowing how to communicate well with people is an essential skill, both at work and in our personal lives. Since it is often "who you know" rather than "what you know" which opens doors and leads to new opportunities, learning to build instant rapport and trust is indispensable nowadays.

About the course and MOE

This 5 day course will provide you with techniques for communicating with people at all levels, whether at work, with friends or with family. You will learn how to be a leader for yourself and others, gain new perspectives on ‘what makes people tick’ and be able to handle difficult situations like misunderstandings and conflict.

You will learn coaching skills which are based on the principle of self-directed learning. By developing the skills to encourage this approach, you will learn how to ask the type of questions which direct the coachee’s focus inward to find the solutions enabling them to reach their full potential. This course will provide ample opportunities to put into practise the skills you will learn and develop the confidence to support other people in moving forward.

Our coaching programme seeks to assist our MOE Mentors and Mentees in the following ways:

  •  Identifying your purpose - we call this dream boarding

  • Clarifying your personal values and what energises you

  • Providing practical coaching skills and the opportunities to firmly embed them by the end of the course

  • Understanding what it means to be a purposeful coach and leader

  • Taking charge and control of your life and professional career

  • Establishing a community that aids you in achieving your ambitions

  •  Clarifying the life that you would love to lead - your lifelessordinary

  •  Understanding your professional, leadership or entrepreneurial journey to date and planning the next steps

Professional Credibility

The Coach Training Course is recognised by the Association for Coaching, the Institute of Leadership & Management, Portsmouth University Business School and approved by Sir John Whitmore, Chairman of Performance Consultants International.


Thanks to a generous association with PCT, our corporate training partner, and our coach training team of MOE graduates, we are able to offer this opportunity to suitable keen candidates at substantially reduced rates, with some full scholarships also available. This makes it accessible to all who have a genuine interest in becoming qualified, accredited Coaching Mentors, (the typical cost to organisations for this coaching training course would otherwise be £2500.00). All donations go to the MOE Foundation for reinvestment into young people’s lives.

Coach Accelerator Programme - CAP

As part of our reinvestment we provide an opportunity to join our Coach Accelerator Programme for those who show particular aptitude for coaching and with an ability to present and teach. Participants can further study the skills needed to present and deliver this material to new participants. Every participant, regardless of teaching experience, will be considered, (although it is ESSENTIAL that you fully complete the course as a participant first). Speak to one of the trainers on your course if you are interested, or you may well be approached by a trainer and invited to join CAP after your course - your trainers may well spot talents you weren't aware you had!
